The ELITE program of Pismo Beach VC trains players in advanced strategy, team chemistry, and a faster pace of play in addition to solidifying fundamentals, improving individual athleticism, and building volleyball IQ.
To ensure ELITE players receive the best competition possible, a tryout is required prior to the beginning of each session. For 2025 the ELITE program will be offered during our Spring, Summer #1 and Summer #2 sessions. Sign up for the regular sessions, and sign up on our elite tryout sign up form. If you have any questions, please email us! ELITE players will have an 8 to 1 coach to player ratio, girls 6th-12th grades times will be from 5:30pm-8pm, and may have one additional practice day or travel tournament per week. Not only are we expanding to more age ranges, we are offering extra training for ELITE girls, encouraging players to sign up for local tournaments and travel together to out of area tournaments like Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz, and Southern California. A partial California tournament schedule can be found here.
To encourage our players to sign up for as many CBVA tournaments and represent our Club, we are offering to sponsor your athlete's CBVA registration fee. Please be sure to have your athlete represent our Club by wearing our Pismo Beach Volleyball Club t-shirt!
National Championships BVCA is a very high level tournament where all of the top players of each Club in the Nation participate and compete against each other. We currently have pending requests for bids for National Championships BVCA in Hermosa Beach. We are unsure of how many teams we can send down at this time.
Cost:
All ELITE players will need to pay a surcharge of $60-$90 per Session (not each practice) separately, in addition to regular club fees. This does NOT include tournament fees. You will receive an email on how to pay this before the camp. There will be a non-refundable tryout fee of $10 per athlete that will go towards your elite surcharge fee.
The additional surcharge fees go towards helping the Elite program grow while providing payment for coaches, rental fees, new equipment and other fees.
Each Elite athlete will receive 1 pair of sand socks and 1 tank top for the 2025 season.
