Elite

The ELITE program of Pismo Beach VBC trains players in advanced strategy, team chemistry, and a faster pace of play in addition to solidifying fundamentals, improving individual athleticism, and building volleyball IQ.

To ensure ELITE players receive the best competition possible, a tryout is required prior to the beginning of each session. For 2023 the ELITE program will be offered only for our Summer session. Sign up for the Summer Session starting in June, and the session starting in July if you are looking to continue through to August. Then send us an email saying you're interested in trying out!

ELITE players will have a 6 to 1 coach to player ratio, girls 6th-12th grades times will be from 5:30pm-8pm, and may have one additional practice day or travel tournament per week.

Not only are we expanding to more age ranges, we are offering extra training for ELITE girls and encouraging players to sign up for local tournaments and travel together to out of area tournaments like Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz, and Southern California. A partial California tournament schedule can be found here.

We have received a bid for 2 teams in each age group to attend the BCVA National Championships in Hermosa Beach on July 14-18. This tournament is attended by a large majority of College Coaches as a recruiting instrument. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are interested in our Elite program so that we may consider you for future tournaments.

Cost:
All ELITE players will need to pay a surcharge of $90 per Summer Camp (not each practice) in addition to regular club fees. This does NOT include tournament fees or scrimmages with other teams outside of regular practice times.
